Hi, I'm Jennifer
Whatever has brought you here today, know that I’m proud of you for taking this first step.
I see your vulnerability in being here and I honor it.
I’m a licensed therapist who practices Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). ACT is about learning to live in harmony with your feelings, thoughts, or physical sensations, and to make a commitment to taking actions based on your values.
The work I do is about creating the life you actually want to live. A life filled with meaning and satisfaction.

As an action-oriented therapist, I will do more than "just listen." I will provide you with actionable steps from the start of therapy – actions that are not only important for reaching your goals but also vital to your success. Experience real progress, not just talking and analyzing.
FAQ
What is the free consultation?
The free 20 minute consultation is a chance for us to meet each other. For you to make sure that you feel comfortable working with me and for me to see if I’m someone who can help you with your concerns. We’ll also work out some logistics, such as session times and rates for therapy.
What do you specialize in?
I specialize in helping people manage difficult emotions and make changes in their life. I draw heavily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), but also incorporate other therapy theories. ACT is useful for a range of concers, but I focus most on treating generalized anxiety, social anxiety, depression, imposter syndrome, and life transitions.
Where are you located?
My practice is entirely online. I can work with anyone located in the state of California, in any place that is private and convenient to you.
Do you accept insurance or have a sliding scale?
I do not take insurance. You also have the right to ask for a “Good Faith Estimate” in order to have estimates for the cost of therapy. I do offer a sliding scale with proof of income for a limited number of times and spots.
